Recap from the 2025 Annual Florida Bar Convention

Uncategorized Aug 25, 2025

We had the pleasure of joining more than 3,500 attendees at the 75th Annual Florida Bar Convention in Boca Ratón. From 6 a.m. wakeups to 11 p.m. networking, our team dove headfirst into this record-setting event. We prioritized attending informative meetings, supporting client presentations, producing impactful video content, and connecting with familiar faces and new peers alike. The key takeaway? The legal industry is evolving faster than ever, with marketing, communications, and digital strategy essential drivers in that transformation.

Here are our top takeaways from the event:

Florida Bar Convention Highlights from Our Partner Sections

At this year’s Florida Bar Convention, we were proud to support and celebrate several of the Bar sections we collaborate year-round. From ushering in new leadership to promoting initiatives through strategic digital content, we witnessed firsthand how each section is evolving to better serve its members and the broader legal community.

International Law Section (ILS): We unveiled a new highlight video capturing ILS’s global impact and vibrant presence at the Convention. Their new leadership team is set to expand cross-border engagement. Don’t miss the chance to follow their progress at internationallawsection.org and on social @FloridaBarILS.

Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law Section (EASL): We proudly celebrated Shannon Lignon’s appointment as Chair, marking her journey from law student to firm founder and now, section leader. Over the past year, we’ve supported EASL with content development, digital marketing, and systems to better engage their growing membership. Convention programming featured forward-thinking panels on revenue innovation, self-care, and the fast-changing world of entertainment and sports law. Follow their updates at EASL.info and @EASLonline.

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Section: Through photo coverage and social media support, we helped spotlight the ADR Section’s growing footprint and its emphasis on mediation education and training. A moment of applause for the upcoming release of “The Voice of the Client” CLE initiative led by Harold Oehler and Jay Castle, chairs of the Outreach Committee - a video interview series of actual mediation clients sharing their experiences and feedback after going through the process. And congratulations to newly appointed Natalie Paskiewicz, who will be leading the ADR section for the 2025-2026 term. Learn more about their programs at fladr.org and @FloridaBarADRSection.

Stay tuned as we continue to work with these sections throughout the year on content development, strategic communications, and digital outreach to amplify their missions and member value.

Main Mantra: Marketing is a Must in 2025

Conversations at our INGAGE exhibitor booth showed that we’re all on the same page: marketing isn’t optional for legal professionals, it’s essential. Expertise alone isn’t enough. A visible, credible, and consistent brand is the cornerstone of growth and public trust. Building a visible, credible, and authentic brand is key to growth. In an age of legal misinformation and short news cycles, how attorneys and law firms show up in the media matters more than ever.

One PR-focused session tackled the question: “How do you own your story before someone else tells it for you?” Attorneys are realizing that proactive reputation management, strategic visibility, and consistent messaging can build public trust and, in times of crisis, protect it. Our team had several conversations around media training, ghostwriting, and thought leadership platforms that firms and individual attorneys are eager to explore in the year ahead.

Personal Reflections: From the Booth to the Boardroom

Beyond the panels and sessions, what made the 2025 Florida Bar Convention so memorable was the people: our clients, colleagues, and new connections who are shaping the future of Florida’s legal landscape. We were proud to support client events, cheer on speakers, and have conversations that went far beyond business cards.

From branding and PR to content strategy and digital communications, our work at INGAGE is rooted in helping attorneys and firms stand out for the right reasons. Strategically, ethically, and with purpose. This year’s convention affirmed just how critical that work has become.

The overall impact of our involvement at this year’s Florida Bar Convention was a keen reminder to us: The future of law is dynamic. It’s driven by innovation, and deeply human. As the legal landscape continues to shift, we’re excited to keep helping firms navigate change. There’s nothing we love more than sharing their stories and amplifying their impact.

Ready to elevate your legal brand with the right story, strategy, and visibility? Let’s INGAGE.
